Second nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan to be built near Balkhash

ASTANA. April 21 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan’s second nuclear power plant (NPP) will also be built near Lake Balkhash, the country’s Atomic Energy Agency head Almasadam Satkaliyev said Tuesday.
