ASTANA. April 21 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Western Kazakhstan, the city of Kurchatov in the Abay region, and the Kostanay region in the north could be considered as potential sites for future nuclear power plants, the country’s Atomic Energy Agency head Almasadam Satkaliyev said Tuesday.
