Kazakhstan begins selecting equipment for first nuclear power plant

ASTANA. April 21 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan has started selecting equipment for the construction of its first nuclear power plant near Balkhash in the Almaty region, the country’s Atomic Energy Agency head Almasadam Satkaliyev said Tuesday.
