Illegal export of gold ore worth 1.5 bln tenge stopped in southeastern Kazakhstan

ASTANA. Oct 22 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - A channel for the illegal export of 2,600 tonnes of gold ore worth a total of 1.5 billion tenge has been shut down in the Zhetysu region of southeastern Kazakhstan, the state Agency for Financial Monitoring said in a press release on Thursday.
