ISIL seeks to use Afghanistan as staging ground to spread terrorism - Lavrov

MOSCOW. Oct 16 (Interfax) - The Islamic State (ISIL, designated as a terrorist organization in Russia) seeks to undermine the government in Kabul and use Afghanistan as a staging ground to expand its activities throughout the region and into Russia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
