Private investor plans $145 mln, 100 MW power plant in Kazakhstan for crypto mining

ASTANA. Sept 15 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – A private investor plans to invest $145 million in building a 100 MW power plant in the city of Ekibastuz, with 70% of its output to be used for crypto mining, Deputy Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Gizzat Baitursynov said.
