Electricity generation in Uzbekistan up 8% in Jan-July 2026, consumption rises 5%

TASHKENT. Aug 20 (Interfax) - Electricity production in Uzbekistan amounted to 54.3 billion kWh in January-July 2026, up 7.8% year-on-year, the Uzbek Energy Ministry said.
