Kazakhstan sprays for locusts on more than half of planned farmland

ASTANA. June 23 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan has sprayed 1.3 million hectares of agricultural land against locust pests, representing 60% of the 2.2 million hectares scheduled for control operations nationwide, the Agriculture Ministry said.
