Kazakh parliament approves amendments strengthening labor rights

ASTANA. March 19 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — The Senate, the upper house of Kazakhstan’s parliament, gave final approval on Thursday to a law introducing amendments aimed at improving workplace safety, strengthening labor rights and enhancing social protections.
