KPO fined 2.07 bln tenge for excessive emissions – Kazakh Ecology Ministry

ASTANA. March 2 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The Department of Ecology for the West Kazakhstan Region, following an unscheduled inspection, has brought the Kazakhstani branch of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) to administrative responsibility for excessive emissions, the Republic's Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources reported.
