Construction of 2nd runway at Astana airport to begin in 2026 – prime minister

ASTANA. Feb 10 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Construction of a second runway at Astana International Airport will begin in 2026, increasing the airport’s capacity to 40 million passengers a year, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said.
