Kazakh President vows to uphold national unity policy, warns against divisive forces

ASTANA. Sept 17 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Wednesday reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to a policy of interethnic and interreligious tolerance, calling it a fundamental principle, and warned that any attempts to undermine national unity will be harshly suppressed.
