Kazakhstan and Asian Development Bank ink memorandum on coal plant retirement
ALMATY. Nov 13 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Energy have sealed a memorandum of understanding on possible early retirement of coal plants in Kazakhstan under the bank’s Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM) program, ADB said in a press release.
