Cooperation within SCO, CIS key to maintaining peace and security - Uzbek president

TASHKENT. Sept 4 (Interfax) - The member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) are committed to further advancing practical cooperation to maintain peace and security, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said in his address to the participants in a Tashkent-hosted international conference on countering terrorism and extremism.
