National Bank of Kazakhstan keeps base rate at 14.25% as expected

ASTANA. Aug 29 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The National Bank of Kazakhstan has decided to maintain the base rate at 14.25% per annum with a corridor of +/-1 percentage point, citing a need to address rising inflation risks and support the medium-term inflation target.
